A funny thing happened on the way to the garden. Where did April go? A much drier Spring than 2024. Already we're into the beautiful month of May. Very busy with seed sowing, tidying, transplanting, setting up the Pea ('Onward' ) trellis & Sweet Pea wigwams, tying up daffodil leaves, pruning the raspberry canes, (a bit late) but lots of new growth on them, re-vamping the raised beds for parsnip & carrots ('Resistafly') setting up this year's compost bays ......& a new allotment too.
And, trying to keep an eye on the weeds in all of the gardens! A mammoth task for Spring 2025!
Weather has been so warm of late. Still watching out for late frosts. It's a glorious gardening month!
